Why July Nine?
There are too many to list really, but we’re proud that our bags are well made, in America, with usages that are up to you. It’s more than a re-usable shopping bag, it’s more than a purse or a man bag. Our bags are lightweight, modern and packable.
How soon will my bag be shipped?
We try our best to fulfill orders in a timely fashion, and will do our best to communicate with you along the way. That said, we have very high quality standards and our items are made just for you. We make great bags, not necessarily fast bags. It’s very rare but if a week has passed without notification of shipment we definitely recommend sending us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can update you.
What if my order has shipped but hasn’t arrived?
There are a few steps to take. For domestic orders, please check the tracking provided when your order was shipped. If your tracking says delivered but you haven’t received your bag please contact us at email@example.com. For international orders we recommend waiting at least 30 days before worrying about where your bag may be. After 30 days feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can give you our best solution for retrieving your order.

Are July Nine Bags waterproof?
The short answer: yes and no. The long answer: Many of our bags, including our roll up collection, are made of ripstop nylon. This material combined with the way we manufacture our bags does create a waterproof like container. They are known to keep water out and in. But because of some bonus features, like leather details and heavy-weight zippers, we cannot claim a 100% waterproof guarantee. We will share that many people have given us feedback with how impressed things stay dry in a downpour as well as water bottles leaking inside a bag or Puntzi Pack that didn’t affect their other items.
How do I wash my bag?
Nylon: For our Roll Up Collection and nylon bags we recommend spot cleaning with water and soap if need be. The nylon material will take water extremely well – then just let air dry. The nylon bags will hold up in the washing machine if you deem necessary but because of the leather detailing or straps we don’t recommend it as a first approach. The leather will change it’s look and feel.
Cordura: Cordura Brand recommends removing soil off July Nine bags with spray cleaner or detergent and water and to avoid chlorine or bleach based cleansers.
Leather Bags: If you would like to clean your leather bag, we suggest professional leather cleaning, though there are various spot removers and cleaners that can be used for slight stains and general maintenance. Natural leather colors can be especially difficult to get stains out of. Darker, pigmented leather colors we offer show less wear over time. How do I care for my South Oxford Tote?
The South Oxford Tote is 100% raw leather which creates a soft feel and an easy to carry shape. We chose to keep the South Oxford raw and natural to maintain its softness but because leather is a natural material it does have it’s quirks. We recommend using a lint roller on the inside of the bag to pick up extra raw leather debris. To clean the outside of your South Oxford see above.
Do you do custom work?

Can I return my bag?
Absolutely. If you’re unhappy with your bag for any reason we offer a 30-day return policy. Items must be unused, free of wear marks and odors caused by things like smoke or pets. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns past 30 days or for used and worn items. Sale items are not refundable but are exchangeable. Items that were purchased through one of our retail partners should be returned and exchanged with them. July Nine cannot return items that were not purchased from us directly.
It is rare, but if you receive the wrong item or a defective product makes it past our inspection please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make it right.
To return your bag: Please contact us at email@example.com. Let us know your order number and we will email you a printable return postage label (USA only) and return instructions. International customers can email us for return/exchange instructions.

Where is my bag made?
July Nine bags are made in America. Although challenging at times, this is what we are most proud of. Over the years, scores of manufacturing jobs have left our area to overseas and we desired to bring just a few of them back. We have partnered with a top notch manufacture in Los Angeles, California to produce our bags at the highest quality. Our products are designed and fulfilled in our in-house shop in Redmond, Oregon.

Do you do repairs?
July Nine stands behind the quality of our products and the materials used. If a bag you purchased from our website fails in any capacity please contact us. We’d be happy to address it and see if we can fix or replace the bag. We also know accidents do happen but we, unfortunately, are not set up as a facility to take on these types of repairs. How do I use a promotion code?
Wahoo a sale! To use a promotion code, add all desired items to your shopping cart and proceed to the check out. You can enter the coupon code you wish to apply to your order. After submitting the code, you will see the discount applied to your total. Only one code can be used per order.
Do you do gift receipts?
We do not offer special gift receipts at this time, but product prices are never included on the packing slip in an order.
